Barbara Home Improvement replaced the roof on my house several years ago. I was pleased with their service and work. When I lost some original shingles on my garage from a recent storm, I contacted Bob Frank at Barbera to take a look at the damage. We discussed repairing the old roof vs replacing it. I am glad I decided to replace the roof. I have an oversized garage and thought the price was fair. The service and work was excellent às was the turn around time from start to finish. I highly recommend Barbera Home Improvement and Bob Frank.
A company that never forgets its customers! 10 years ago had our roof done and they did such an exquisite job from day 1 to the last day, from tear down to clean up 100 percent professional. Everyone knows this time of year the weather is a bit of a grab bag in NEO and well the winds took a small part of the ridge off- like three tiles across. We kinda worried about getting anyone out here but contacted Barbera first since they installed the roof. I assumed it wouldn’t be seen until months later, NOT EVEN! Called first thing this morning and by noon it was fixed! AMAZING COMPANY! Without hesitation he said he would have a man out there and it would be repaired! He wasn’t kidding - within the hour he was here, smile in his face and a ladder in his hand. Was kind enough to check all the ridgelines and add extra glue to any and all - took a complete walk around the whole roof and make sure it was just fine. Thanked us for the business and said any problems don’t hesitate to reach out! 10 years later and still making us a priority! What company does that? BARBERA will be my contractor for all my household needs- they take the worry out of homeownership. Thank you again from a customer for life!
First called BHI in 2023 when I heard a leak inside and noticed some animal damage on the roof near where I'd heard the leak. John was here the next day. The damage was not necessarily extensive, but the roof was aging and his quote for a full roof replacement was unbelievably low. My neighbor had just had John replace his roof and recommended BHI very strongly. My new roof was up just a few days later and it's gorgeous!
A few days ago, I heard what I thought was another leak, and John got me right into his schedule, checked it out at no cost, and while the roof is in great shape with no leaks, he still shared some thoughts on what might have caused the drip sounds I had heard, and what the next steps I could take with a plumber might be.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Barbera Home Improvement. I've used them once last year to help fix my siding and then just had them come out to help with an ice dam issue. Very reasonably priced and amazing service! John is very nice and was able to come out very quickly to help. Highly recommend!
I needed a leaky skylight either repaired or replaced, so I called up a few places to get some quotes. When I contacted Barbera Home Improvement, I talked with an individual named Josh. He was very courteous and took the time to listen to what I needed. The next day Josh came out to look at the skylight, and he immediately knew what brand, model and size of a skylight I had. There was no question, it was an immediate and confident "We can replace this no problem, we do it all the time." He was both direct and pleasant, and very easy to work with. He also had a very quick turnaround time for communications.
Josh's quote was literally half of the other quotes that I have received to do the same work, and based on his knowledge and confidence of the job, I selected BHI to do the work. The turnaround time from onsite inspection to quote was roughly 58 minutes, truly incredible.
I have zero regrets.
I was expecting to have to wait a month or so for the installation, but it turns out they were able to fit me in 2 days later due to a cancellation of another job. The individual doing the work came out on time, exactly when they said they'd be there. They were done within 2 hours, which was a full replacement of the skylight with a brand new one.
One of the things Josh mentioned to me was that they could not guarantee they could match the existing shingles, but they would get "close as they can," which I expected and fully understood since the roof is about 8 years old. When they were done with the installation, I wasn't sure what to expect. I couldn't be happier with the results, they matched the shingles nearly perfectly, and you'd have to be on the roof to even tell.
I waited a few weeks before writing this review to make sure there were no leaks. After a few hard rains, I can report that the skylight is completely leak free.
I would absolutely recommend BHI to anyone else looking for similar jobs to be done, and I will be contacting them in the future for any additional work I might need.
I have been working with Barbera Home improvement for many years on rehab projects in the greater cleveland area. They are true professionals who do great work at a fair price. They are honest and stand behind their work. I'm currently working with them on a new construction project and they've been super helpful and extremely accommodating, and John has been great to work, with and bounce ideas about my project. Ted, Tony, Bob and Mike did an awesome job setting me up and helping me pick out the roof, siding and gutters. Ted went about and beyond the call of duty along with the other guys.
The chimney guy did an awesome job rebuilding my chimney. Roofing crew did a great job and was done in one day. Siding crew did an excellent job. They even greeted my dogs everyday and the dogs definitely approved of their work. Lastly, the gutter crew was done in a couple of hours and definitely exceeded my expectations.
I would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for a new roof, siding and gutters. They went above and beyond and answered all my questions as I had no clue what I was doing. Once again thanks for everything.
Unfortunately we did not get to use Barbera Home Imporvement, but we sure will in the future. Ted, came out and gave us a quote on a home we were interested in buying. Unfortunately the home has to go through probate court so we ended up passing. However, Ted was the MOST HELPFUL contractor to come out, and mind you we had 2-4 others come out for various improvements that were needed to this home. The roof had a leak, and Ted sent his co worker out immediately to put a tarp on the roof so more water wouldn’t come in. Mind you, this is a house we didn’t even own! Super nice guy, and very helpful in answering all of our questions. Ted, you deserve praise from your boss! Excellent customer service. Thank you.
Bob submitted a very reasonable quote for siding and wall repair. The work was timely and craftsmanship was excellent. In a spot that was very drafty, it's now cosy and warm the entire length of the house. Recommended for honesty, integrity, and experience.
Can't say enough great things about BHI. We hired them to do the siding on our home. Bob was really great to work with and he always got back to me quickly whenever I had questions or needed anything. On installation day Joe's crew arrived on time and were super professional and they did a really great job. Everyone was super friendly and I could tell they all took pride in their work. From the moment I received an estimate from Ted to the time Bill and the crew left today, I was more than satisfied with the replacement of my house and garage roofs. I LOVE them! Ted was very patient with me asking a lot of questions, and always responded promptly. I couldn't ask for more than that! I have been trying for months to have people / companies give me estimates on repairs / new things for my house, and nobody bothers to call me back. Rapid response from Barbera Home Improvement, Inc., and great guys to work with! I know it is not their fault that I have to wait so long for my siding to come, but I sure am looking forward to that day, as Ted says "Your house will look brand new" - I'm looking forward to that day!
I couldn’t be happier with my new roof! Barbera Home Improvement is professional, friendly and courteous. I met with John Barbera to select the color of my shingles and schedule the installation. The day of the installation, I left my house for the office and appointments early in the morning and came home in the evening with a new roof and a clean yard!
